Making a Purchase

To make a purchase, browse our catalogue and add any items to the “shopping cart”. On completing your selections proceed to the checkout. At this point you will be asked to complete some details in order to facilitate the charging for the purchase and its delivery.

Order Acceptance

We do not charge for any item appearing in our catalogue unless it is available for shipment.

Out of Stock Items

In the event of any item being unavailable we will advise you and will retain these items on back order until available. In the event of your not wishing to wait you will have the opportunity to cancel.

We will send these items to you postage free.

Prices

Prices are shown in this catalogue inclusive of United Kingdom Value Added Tax at the current rate of 17.5% Our VAT registration number is 703 2751 65. All orders within the EEC will be subject to VAT, with the exception of those for books. VAT will not be charged on orders for delivery OUTSIDE Of THE European Union. Orders for delivery to non European Union will have the VAT removed at the check-out.

Delivery Charges: All Parts of United Kingdom

No charge will be made for delivery.

Overseas

Packages sent overseas will be charged postage at cost.

Payment Credit Cards

We accept payment by the following cards - MASTER CARD, VISA, MAESRO, and DELTA. SWITCH, SOLO AND AMERICAN EXPRESS.

We also accept payment by cheque or postal order. Cheques should be made payable to “Swanstitch Limited”

Payments made in currencies other than UK Pounds Sterling

Your card company will convert the Pounds Sterling amount into your base currency at the current exchange rate. Details of the transaction will appear of your credit card/bank statement,

Credit/Debit Card Security

Delivery

We will normally despatch your order within two business days of the order date.

Returns and Refunds

We provide you with the right to cancel an order within 14 days of purchase or within the same number of days of receipt of the order whichever is the later, subject to the exception of the following product types – pattern, books or sale/discounted items.

We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged in transit. To protect yourself we would advise you to return goods by one of the following methods – Recorded delivery, registered post, special delivery or courier. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you.

In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods please let us know within 7 days of receipt. Replacement goods will be despatched without further charge on receipt of the faulty goods.

Your statutory rights will not be affected by our returns policy.
